Gelato is seeking skilled Colourisation Artists to join our expanding team in Manchester. Our city centre studio is flourishing with new opportunities in the realms of blue chip factual television.
As a Colourisation Artist, you will play a pivotal role in our current and upcoming slate, using your expertise to breathe life and vibrant colour into our projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Apply your artistic skills to transform grayscale images into captivating, colour-rich compositions.
Maintain a keen eye for detail, ensuring the highest quality standards in your work.
Stay organised, meet project deadlines, and adapt to changing client needs.
Requirements:
Proficiency in matte painting/DMP, Photoshop art, and traditional art techniques.
Experience in photobashing
Strong working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop.
Background in animation is preferred.
Excellent artistic and creative communication skills.
Exceptional attention to detail.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Bonus skills:
Experience in the animation industry.
Previous work in TV or Film.
